Where to start. I booked through a company called direct removals & paid my deposit over the phone. Mr 4 men was the name that was on my statement so not even sure who it was that turned up! I was told they would be there at 9am, they arrived at 10am in a van that was too small. When asked if they were going to do more than one trip to move all our stuff I was advised we would have to pay double. We then had to hire a last minute van to move the rest of our stuff. when they arrived at our new house the keys weren't ready so they had to wait an hour outside our house. They charged us an extra £80 for this!! They also stated that if they stayed past 5pm we would have to pay £29 per person per hour. So we paid the fee that was quoted, the guys then worked 10-5 (7hrs) & had the cheek to charge us £80 to sit in their van chilling & chatting!! As I didn't want to pay anymore money after 5pm the guys unloaded everything onto my drive so that they could leave at 5pm. My mum & I had to move things into the house or garage as my husband hadn't arrived. I am 5 months pregnant so did not appreciate this. Make sure you request to see the terms & conditions before you book as they quote a low price but add on all over the place!

Don’t use them - really bad service, lied to us on several occasions. Can’t really speak English so it's hard to communicate where things should go. They put the boxed where they want instead if the correct room. (although their English was magically much better when asking for a tip).

Some of our things were broken in the move and furniture was incorrectly reassembled.

They damaged the walls when removing furniture and scraped doors when moving furniture in.

You're better of using a competitor.

Disgusting service - We agreed with them that they would arrive between 0930-1030 and after repeated calls they eventually turned up after 3pm - over 4 hours late. When asked why the couldn't even get their lies straigStill they wouldn't take rresponsabillity and told us "it's just a change of time" what really annoys me is we called 5 days before to ensure they were confirmed and they asked to change the time to 2pm but we were unable to change our moving plans as we needed to be out off tye flat by noon - they decided to turn up when they liked anyway.. read other reviews and decide for yourself. .
