Intransit Removals and Storage

Had an absolutely terrible experience with Intransit. The kids they use to do the work are inexperienced and unmotivated - they spent more time on their phones than actually moving boxes - I ended up having to shift half the stuff myself. Then it became obvious that the lorry they had wasn't big enough for the job and asked if they could leave a load of stuff on the front drive and come back for it! It was past 4pm by the time we left the property and the purchasers of our house had to be extremely patient. At the other end I had to once again shift half the stuff myself and also discovered that my American fridge freezer had been severely dented - I have just been through the insurance claim process and they are refusing to pay.

Avoid at all possible costs.

Intransit carried out my house move in Bath in March 2014.  
Moving house is a stressful time. Intransit were very professional from start to finish.  They were not the cheapest and certainly not the most expensive company we contacted.  
On first contact, they came out and surveyed the house to provide a quote.  We bought packing boxes from them which were dropped off the next day.  They even called to check we were in when they dropped them off.  
On moving day they turned up on time and immediately took over the moving process.  They were well presented and were obviously well trained.  They were very friendly and professional and immediately put me at ease with what was happening, in what order and how long it would take.   We had no issues at all with the team.  No breakages, scratches or other damage. They took great care with all items and come prepared with blankets to protect delicate items.  They sort out the clothes in the wardrobe in to special hanging boxes so you don't have to pack them.  
I can not recommend these guys highly enough. They did a fantastic job and would be the first and only company I called if I were to move again.  .
